Project tracking may be accomplished in a variety of ways. It’s not easy if the project is huge and complicated and involves a lot of sub-tasks with dependencies. However, while managing several projects, the tracking game must constantly be strong in order to ensure their success and advancement.

Tracking wasn’t a major concern for me while I was working on only one project at a time or doing one job at a time in my early career. I was continually thinking about the details, which made my work easier and my progress calculations more accurate.

However, as the days went on, I began to lose track of the jobs and the responsibilities that came with them. As a result, I relied on sticky notes and planner to-do lists. As my workload grew, so did the number of things I had to look up each day, and my attention to detail grew as well. Every day, I had a lot of pens down, and it was difficult to recognize items and assign duties by turning the pages of my calendar.

I’m a marketer and I work in the advertising industry. So, on a daily basis, I should be interacting and working with my colleagues from other teams. People must be assigned jobs to examine and assist with materials, among other things. When I was utilizing, assigning assignments became a distinct task.

Eventually, we started using project management tools to keep track of our projects and work. Tracking multiple projects at the same time requires collaboration, team effort, communication, and constant updates from the team. Managing many projects at once necessitates cooperation, teamwork, communication, and regular team updates.

During the early days, we worked with a variety of tools since we were juggling several projects. We bought Kissflow’s collaborative project management solution for monitoring our projects after doing a lot of research and trying a lot of different products.

I believe that employing technology to manage, track, and collaborate with individuals has several benefits for both the business and the project. It will undoubtedly save a significant amount of time and energy, reduce the amount of labor required, increase communication and mutual understanding, and make work easier.

The main benefit of using a tool is that it allows you to follow your project’s progress, but it may also help you avoid project failures.

Although tracking multiple projects would need a project management tool, there are some other factors to concentrate on to do the needful:

  • As a collective effort, create and strengthen teamwork.
  • Make use of reporting software.
  • Set solid and manageable objectives.
  • Organize a lot of meetings.
  • Collaborate with the team on a more regular basis. Create a list of ideas.
  • Make use of a competent project management strategy.
  • enhance accountability and transparency.
  • Check-in with the team on a regular basis.
  • Pay close attention to the finer points.
  • Pay attention to the team and adjust your strategy accordingly.
  • Establish a positive working relationship with the project team.
